About Badi Behen
(Coming Soon!)
Badi Behen is "Big Sister" In Hindi.
Being a Badi Behen is my favorite role.
I want to be your mental health Badi Behen :)
Our mission is to bring greater transparency to mental healthcare and help people make informed decisions about their well-being.
When you break your leg, you go to the emergency room. When your child is sick, you call the pediatrician. The path is relatively clear.
Mental health is different.
Our Mission
When you're struggling, where do you start? Do you see a therapist? A psychiatrist? A coach? A support group? How do you know which professional is right for you? How do you know who to trust? How do you find someone who is a good fit?
Mental healthcare can be incredibly valuable, but it can also be difficult to navigate. Professionals are trained to listen, ask the right questions, and help within their scope of practice. Yet many people still find themselves overwhelmed by the number of options, unsure of where to begin, or frustrated after experiences that weren't the right fit.
My favorite role in life has always been being a big sister. A big sister listens without judgment, helps you understand your options, tells you what to expect, and helps you avoid common mistakes. She supports you while encouraging you to trust yourself and make your own decisions.
As a mental health counselor, I know I cannot personally help everyone who may need support. What I can do is help make mental health more transparent, accessible, and easier to understand.
I don't have all the answers, but I know how to ask good questions, connect people with resources, and find professionals who do.
Through honest conversations with therapists, psychiatrists, coaches, and other helping professionals, Badi Behen exists to help you better understand mental health, learn about available resources, and feel more confident navigating your next steps.
My hope is that Badi Behen becomes a trusted base camp for your mental health journey: a place where you can learn, explore your options, and make informed decisions about your care.
You deserve support that fits your needs, your values, and your life.
